Scope and role
Before work begins, the engagement identifies the service, deliverables, exclusions and Energyplex’s role. Advisory, brokerage, supplier referral, project management and principal contracting have different responsibilities.
COMMERCIAL TRANSPARENCY
You should understand what is being assessed, how Energyplex is involved and how the engagement is paid for.
Before work begins, the engagement identifies the service, deliverables, exclusions and Energyplex’s role. Advisory, brokerage, supplier referral, project management and principal contracting have different responsibilities.
The commercial model may involve client fees, retailer or supplier commissions, project margins or a combination. The applicable basis and relevant financial interests are disclosed for the engagement before you proceed.
A review fee does not automatically include subsequent procurement, design, installation or ongoing services.
Any comparison identifies the retailers, products or suppliers assessed and material exclusions. Eligibility, available arrangements and data affect the scope. Energyplex does not claim whole-market coverage or complete independence.
Confirmed billing findings, unresolved questions, forecast savings and measured results are identified separately. Investment modelling states the assumptions and limitations. Savings or payback are not guaranteed.
An enquiry does not authorise data access, retailer switching, supplier appointment or equipment orders. Data permissions and any subsequent action are agreed separately.
Procurement work is subject to confirmed retailer or intermediary arrangements and the agreed scope. Technical work depends on capability, location and appropriate specialist input. Project contracts identify design, approvals, installation, commissioning, warranty and defect responsibilities.
YOUR NEXT ENERGY DECISION
We’re happy to discuss the proposed scope, responsibilities and remuneration before an engagement.
