ENERGYPLEX PROCUREMENT

Buy energy with
the context in view.

Electricity and commercial gas decisions should reflect your consumption, operating needs and contract exposure—not just a headline rate.

01 / ELECTRICITY

Look beyond
cents per kWh.

Tariff structure, demand charges, supply charges, contract duration and the timing of usage can all influence the total cost.

  • Review the existing contract and renewal position
  • Define the consumption baseline for quotations
  • Assess relevant offers on a consistent basis
  • Consider solar, batteries and changing loads
02 / COMMERCIAL GAS

A different fuel.
A separate analysis.

Gas procurement needs its own treatment of units, supply charges, consumption blocks, seasonal use and contract conditions.

  • Review billing and contract structures
  • Identify renewal and quotation requirements
  • Examine seasonal or process-driven usage
  • Consider electrification where technically appropriate

The comparison
needs boundaries.

Retailer access, customer eligibility and available products determine what can be compared. A comparison must state its coverage and exclusions. Energyplex does not claim to compare every retailer or every available offer.

Procurement or brokerage work is subject to confirmed arrangements and an agreed engagement. Fees, commissions or a hybrid arrangement are disclosed before proceeding. An enquiry does not authorise a retailer switch.

A contract decision
should answer these questions.

What will the offer cost under our operating pattern?+

Assess the offer against a consistent usage baseline, rather than comparing only the usage rate. Identify assumptions about future consumption and demand.

Which costs and contract conditions can change?+

Review the actual offer terms, including any pass-through components, price variation provisions, contract duration and exit or renewal conditions.

Could the operation change during the contract?+

New equipment, changed operating hours, solar generation, storage or electrification may change the load profile. Discuss these plans before comparing contracts.

YOUR NEXT ENERGY DECISION

Bring your next renewal
into the conversation.

Tell us the energy type, site location and renewal timing. We’ll discuss the next step.
